Monticello Academy Breaks Ground on Expansion Building

In November 2025, Forge Contractors broke ground on a 19,000-square-foot expansion at Monticello Academy’s West Point Campus in Utah. This new addition will enhance K-9 academic pathways and marks a significant milestone in the school’s long-term plan to extend its academically rigorous K-8 program to include ninth grade. The building is scheduled to open for the 2026-27 school year.

“We thoroughly vetted multiple reputable contractors, and we believe Forge Contractors will be an excellent partner in creating a high-quality learning space for our community,” said Dane Roberts, Executive Director of Monticello Academy. “They came with an excellent reputation and thorough plans to ensure our project is finished safely and on time.”

Designed by Babcock Design and located at 3110 West 300 North in West Point, the new building will house dedicated K-4 elementary classrooms. This expansion will allow upper grade levels to grow into existing spaces throughout the campus, supporting increased enrollment and program growth.

The addition reinforces Monticello Academy’s mission to provide an academically rigorous, well-rounded liberal arts education that emphasizes traditional American values, including hard work and strong moral character.
